Thanks for the detailed rundown. Great news on the phone number, the lead storage and the admin portal for Liz. Below is our take on each point, with a box under each one for your response.
Both calendars come from the same official July–December 2026 PDFs. A few dates to double-check together.
Great that we're working from the same source. When we sync, we'd like to double-check a handful of dates so both systems match exactly: the CV and HP session lengths, the October long weekend week (the official calendar has Tuesday 6 October starts), and the combo intake dates once Liz confirms them.
Liz edits dates once in the admin portal and everything updates. Agreed: dates should never live in two places.
Fully agreed on the principle. The clean way to do it: the booking system shares its course and date data as a read-only feed, and the calendar on the new website reads from it live. Liz edits once, everything updates everywhere. Our calendar page is already built to plug into a feed like this, so it's a small change on our side.
On the customer journey: the new website carries the approved brand and is where the Google Ads and SEO investment points, so it stays the front door. The booking engine runs behind it. We'd love to bring the booking screens onto the main domain (for example book.trainingcombined.com.au) and dress them in the site's fonts and colours; we'll supply the style kit to make that quick.
Book Now buttons should land in the live booking flow. Agreed, once three quick things are lined up.
- Hosting and ownership: for business continuity, the system and its database should live in a Training Combined owned account, on a trainingcombined.com.au subdomain. Which account does it run in today? We're happy to help with the move.
- Booking tracking: the business invests in Google Ads, so the booking confirmation step needs a small tracking addition (the site's tag container plus a conversion event). Without it, bookings that come from ads can't be measured and the campaigns can't improve. We'll send the exact spec; it's a small change.
- Matching the official calendar: before the new pages go live to customers, we'll do a joint pass to sync prices, course codes and review quotes with the official calendar and the Google reviews, so everything a customer sees is exact. We'll send through the list of differences we spotted; all quick fixes.
Leads are stored safely, with email notifications to admin@ and Liz pending a verification step.
Good design. If the verification step needs DNS records on trainingcombined.com.au (SPF, DKIM or similar), send them through and we'll add them same day. And until the notifications go live, let's agree who checks the dashboard for new leads so no enquiry sits unseen in the meantime.
Running with 0403 415 066 everywhere. Done.
Perfect, that matches the website. Nothing further needed.
A quick call next week to walk through the homepage feedback and lock in the plan.
Suggested agenda: the date feed handover, the subdomain and account move, the tracking spec, the content sync, the style kit for the booking screens, and locking in Liz's training session. Pop a couple of times that suit below.
